BEARS LEAD NORTHERN SECTION

REDCAR are the early leaders of the BSN Series Northern section after a win and aggregate point over Scunthorpe.

The Bears impressed at the ECCO Arena with a 57-32 victory to take all three points on offer after their narrow defeat in Lincolnshire one week earlier.

Skipper Charles Wright was unbeaten with 11+1 from four rides whilst Erik Riss scored 12 from five, and reserve Ace Pijper chipped in with 7+4 from five outings.

Former Bears rider Jake Allen top scored for the visitors with 11+1, collecting two of the Scorpions’ four race wins.
