BEARS HOLD OFF GLADIATORS

REDCAR raced to a hard-fought 48-41 win over Plymouth in the Cab Direct Championship at the ECCO Arena.

Charles Wright scored 13 points for the Bears and Connor Bailey kept up his excellent form with nine, as the Bears moved clear in the top five of the league table.

Ben Barker top-scored for the Gladiators with 13+1 with Kyle Howarth adding 12, and James Pearson picked up six points on his debut.
