BANDITS UNHOOKED

BERWICK have been hit by an injury blow with the news that key reserve Jacob Hook has suffered a broken collarbone.

Hook crashed heavily in Poland on Tuesday and could face a lengthy spell on the sidelines should he require surgery on his damaged shoulder.

He had joined the Bandits in June after being released from Edinburgh’s Cab Direct Championship side and will miss the clash with his former club at Shielfield Park on Saturday – and is also ruled out for the Monarchs Academy in the NDL.
