2026 CHAMPIONSHIP FIXTURES

CAB Direct Championship holders Poole will face their two play-off rivals from 2025 in their opening two home matches of their title defence.

The Pirates defeated Redcar in last season’s semi-finals, and their first league match of 2026 sees the Bears visit Wimborne Road on Wednesday May 6, with the teams then meeting 48 hours later for the return at the ECCO Arena.

And also that month comes the first meeting between Poole and Glasgow since their epic Grand Final decider of last October, with the teams due to clash in Dorset on Wednesday May 27.

The first league match of 2026 takes place at Cowley as Oxford face Berwick on Wednesday April 22, whilst the Scottish derbies between Glasgow and Edinburgh are set for Friday July 31 at Ashfield and Friday August 7 at Armadale.

Official team competition gets underway with the BSN Series, and the first meeting in that competition takes place at Scunthorpe on Sunday March 22 as the Scorpions host holders Redcar in the Northern group.

The Scottish opener sees Edinburgh host Berwick on Good Friday, April 3, with the sides meeting at Shielfield Park 24 hours later, whilst there are also back-to-back clashes on the same weekend between Poole and Plymouth in the Southern group.

The first round MAXiCab KO Cup tie between holders Poole and Scunthorpe is scheduled for April 8 and April 10, with the quarter-finals getting underway later that month including Glasgow and Plymouth meeting at opposite ends of the UK twice in 24 hours, whilst Edinburgh clash with Redcar and Workington take on Berwick.
