YOUNGSTERS SET FOR SGP3

THREE of Great Britain’s top 15-year-olds have travelled to Wroclaw in Poland to compete in the first-ever SGP3 which takes place on Thursday and Friday.

Ace Pijper, Luke Harrison and Max James will all compete in the newly renamed competition, which is the World Championship for riders on 250cc motorcycles, and is being held at the Polish venue in the same week as the Speedway Grand Prix at Wroclaw on Saturday.

On Thursday there will be two semi-finals with Harrison taking his place in the first, starting at 12 midday, whilst Pijper and James are both in semi-final 2 with a start time of 7pm.

The aim for the three British riders is to make a top eight finish in their semi-finals which will enable them to compete in the Final on Friday which starts at 3pm UK time. That event is being covered live by Discovery+ and will be on air from 2.55pm.
