YOUNGSTERS HEAD TO GDANSK

GREAT Britain have three representatives in two major Youth events at Polish venue Gdansk this weekend.

Both the European 125cc Youth Track Racing Cup (Saturday) and the 125cc FIM Track Racing Youth Gold Trophy (Sunday) take place and Oliver Bovingdon, Stene Pijper and Seth Norman have all made the trip.

Bovingdon is the newly crowned British 125cc Champion, Pijper was runner-up in that series in 2021 and 2022, and Norman won this year’s first 125cc round at Belle Vue and qualified into two other Finals out of the five rounds he competed in.

Youth boss Neil Vatcher said: “This is the first time that these three British youngsters are competing in these competitions, and therefore it’s a new experience for them all.

“Although they have all done well in the UK this is sure to be much tougher competition, but some great experience for them all.”

The Young Lions would like to thank their series sponsors for their help and support of the riders participating in these competitions with the supply of tyres for this event.
