YOUNG LIONS’ SUCCESSFUL TRIP

GREAT Britain Youth boss Neil Vatcher has reflected on a highly successful pre-season training camp in France this week.

A total of 18 British riders from the Youth, Under-21 and Under-23 age groups made the trip to Macon for sessions on Wednesday and Thursday.

Over the two days riders were on track on 12-15 occasions each, and they were also able to benefit from the knowledge and advice of former Grand Prix racer Chris Harris.

Vatcher said: “We have had a great two days on a fantastic racetrack in glorious sunshine, and all 18 riders have gained something from attending.

“We are all now looking forward to starting the 2023 season, and the pre-season preparations could not have gone any better.

“Our thanks also to Chris Harris for his input over the two days.”
