PREVIEW: BRITISH YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP, Glasgow

THE first full round of the 2023 British Youth Championship gets underway at Glasgow today (Sunday, 2pm) with a tremendous turnout of 30 riders taking part over the four classes.

In the 125cc class Seth Norman will be hoping to continue his unbeaten run from Friday’s first round for that section at Belle Vue, where he went through the card with five wins including the meeting Final.

There is a good turnout of Scottish talent, particularly in the 125cc Support class, with Rocco Webb and Liam Morris again hoping to continue their success from Friday night where they finished first and third respectively.

As well as Webb and Morris, another local rider and Glasgow’s Northern Junior League representative Rhys Harrow will be hoping for some home track advantage, as will Stene Pijper and Caydin Martin who compete in the 250cc class.

Leicester’s Ashton Boughen will be making his BYC debut in the 500cc class, in what is expected to be an exciting afternoon’s racing at the impressive Ashfield circuit.

The Young Lions would like to thank the Glasgow promotion for their continued support of British Youth Speedway, as well as their series sponsors and the BSP Ltd.
