EURO 250cc PAIRS PREVIEW

AFTER the success of both British 250cc riders William Cairns and Cooper Rushen in the SGP3 series, they move onto Motala in Sweden on Sunday to compete in the second of the four-round FIM European 250cc Pairs series.

The British pair were disappointed to finish seventh in the first round in Krsko, Slovenia just two weeks ago, and will therefore be going all out for a higher place finish to gain some points on the leading pack – to enable GB to compete for medal as they enter the final two rounds at the end of August

Ten Pairs compete in this event with the competition split into two groups of five, and GB’s group looks to be another particularly tough one including host nation Sweden, Denmark, Slovenia and a mixed team of Hungary/Sweden.

The aim is to finish in the top three of the group, enabling progression to the Finals of these events.
