BRITISH YOUTH DATES ANNOUNCED

YOUNG Lions bosses have confirmed a schedule of at least seven rounds for the 2022 British Youth Championship.

The series will start at Belle Vue on Good Friday, April 15, for 500cc and 250cc classes, and includes a two-day Northern tour to Edinburgh and Glasgow in late May, and two meetings in one day at Redcar and Scunthorpe in early July.

The finale is scheduled for Leicester in October, with the possibility of further dates being added at Plymouth and Northside.

Confirmed dates: Round 1 – Belle Vue, Friday April 15 (June 3 for 125cc/150cc), Round 2 – Kent, Sunday May 15 (July 24 for 125cc/150cc), Round 3 – Edinburgh, Saturday May 28, Round 4 – Glasgow, Sunday May 29, Round 5 – Redcar, Sunday July 3 (10.30am), Round 6 – Scunthorpe, Sunday July 3 (7pm), Round 7 – Leicester, Saturday October 15.
