BRENNAN HEADING TO OXFORD

FORMER British No.2 Tom Brennan is set to return to the Cab Direct Championship next season with Oxford.

The 25-year-old won back-to-back second tier titles with Glasgow and Poole in 2023 and 2024 before spending the next two years focusing on Premiership racing and European commitments.

Now he has agreed to join the Cowley club, subject to approval, where he will form a powerful spearhead with skipper Sam Masters.

Cheetahs manager Peter Schroeck said: “Tom is one of the top members of the Great Britain Speedway Team, and brings some real flair with him which I know the Oxford fans will love.

“We know that Sam needs some support, and with Tom joining we have a really powerful top two who can deliver week in, week out.”
