Buxton Bulls v Middlesbrough Tigers

BUXTON moved up to second place in the WSRA National Development League by taking all three points from an impressive 57-33 win over Middlesbrough.

The Bulls made it three successive home wins and chased down a 22-point deficit for the aggregate point, clinching it with a 4-2 in Heat 15.

Alfie Bowtell led the way with 14 points and Luke Harris scored 11 in an overall team display which saw each home rider secure at least one paid win. Nathan Ablitt scored 13 for the Tigers.

Buxton manager Laurence Rogers said: “What a performance that was, everyone played their part and everyone got paid for a race win.

“It was a solid display as we kept Middlesbrough down to just five race winners, of which three came from Nathan Ablitt who guested for us last week, and it shows how much we have developed as a team as the season has progressed.”
