PIRATES SEEK MORE TROPHIES

POOLE co-promoter Dan Ford has sent out a warning to their opponents that the Pirates are determined to extend their trophy run.

The 2025 season saw the Dorset side complete the Cab Direct Championship and MAXiCab KO Cup double, although they were denied a clean sweep when Redcar took the spoils in the BSN Series Final.

Ford said: “I am counting down the days to our opening meeting, and it seems to be coming round real fast.

“We have been working hard behind the scenes in preparation for the season. I am keen to see the new team in action.

“I feel we have a good blend of youth and experience, with riders able to hold their averages, but in a number of cases, significantly increase them.

“As with every season since my Dad took on the club, we are determined to lift as much silverware as possible and make the town proud of Poole Speedway.”
