SCOTT’S DREAM MOVE

JODY Scott admits it’s a dream come true to make the full-time step into the Premiership with his local club King’s Lynn.

Scott, 18, has been confirmed as  the club’s Rising Star for the 2026 campaign after making occasional appearances last year, when he also captained the Young Stars to the National Development Trophy title.

Said Scott: “I’m really buzzing for the opportunity and I just can’t wait to get going now. It’s my hometown club, I was born in King’s Lynn and I’ve been a fan since 2017 when I was 11 years old, and then I was the mascot in ’21 and ’22.

“To be a Young Star last year and now obviously a King’s Lynn Star this year is a dream come true for me, and I can’t wait for it to happen.

“I just want to say thank-you to Rob (Lyon), Buster (Keith Chapman) and Dale (Allitt) for giving me the chance and for sticking by me all these years.

“They gave me a chance in the Premiership last year, I loved every minute of it and it was a no-brainer for me to accept this year.”
