POSTPONED: POOLE v REDCAR (BSN SERIES FINAL)

POOLE have taken an early decision to put the second leg of the BSN Series Final back by 48 hours due to the weather forecast for later today (Wednesday).

The Pirates are seeking to complete a team trophy Treble for the second year in succession, and they are just two points behind Redcar after the first leg last weekend.

However, with heavy and persistent rain forecast in the area from early evening, all parties have agreed to the postponement.

Co-promoter Dan Ford said: “In agreement with both sides and with the co-operation of the stadium management we have been able to quickly re-schedule this Final to Friday, and the forecast is much improved for then.

“We apologise to any fans who may have made advanced travelling arrangements but we hope that in making this early decision we can minimize the inconvenience.”

The club have also confirmed all pre-purchased tickets will be rolled over to Friday.
