TRIGGER WINS PRIDE OF THE EAST

BEN Trigger emerged from a competitive field to win the Poultec Young Stars Pride of the East after a successful night of racing at King’s Lynn on Thursday.

Trigger came through the first semi-final and then pulled off a great ride to win the Final at the expense of home favourite Cooper Rushen, who had scored a 15-point maximum in the qualifiers.

Rushen was one of two riders to automatically make the Final,  but he and Will Cairns had to be content with second and third places overall thanks to Trigger’s victory, with Dayle Wood in fourth place.
