BROWN: JOB NOT DONE YET!

GLASGOW manager Cami Brown has spoken of his pride in his team finishing top of the Cab Direct Championship.

The Tigers defeated Edinburgh on Friday to leapfrog Poole at the summit, and they could be set for another clash with the Monarchs in the play-offs.

And with Brown’s side also still involved in the MAXiCab KO Cup and the BSN Series, it’s set to be a massive spell of meetings over the coming weeks.

He said: “I’m delighted and hugely proud of the boys for their league campaign. To win six out of eight away meetings and 13 out of 16 overall is a sensational season. 

“However, the job is not done yet. We still have the play-offs, and you don’t get any trophies for finishing top of the league. 

“I’m excited that we have so many big meetings ahead at Ashfield. It’s all the semis coming up soon and we want our fans to be the eighth man.”
