PREVIEW: GLASGOW v SCUNTHORPE (CAB DIRECT CHAMP)

GLASGOW have the opportunity to close in further at the top of the Cab Direct Championship when they host Scunthorpe tonight (Saturday).

The Tigers received a major boost with their win at Redcar on Friday, and they are set to be back at full strength with Dan Thompson returning from SGP2 duty.

Manager Cami Brown said: “Now we have a big meeting at Ashfield against Scunthorpe. We go into that on a real high now.”

When the sides met in Lincolnshire in May it was a 45-45 draw with Glasgow winning a Super Heat, so the winners on the night will also take the aggregate point.

The Scorpions start the night also in the play-off places, although with only one home match remaining they are urgently in need of major points on the road.
