PREVIEW: BELLE VUE v OXFORD (ROWE MOTOR OIL PREM)

BELLE Vue bid to build on their impressive home record when they host Oxford in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership this lunchtime (Monday, midday).

The Aces can go level on points with Sheffield and Ipswich with victory over the Spires, who visit Manchester for a second time this season.

Belle Vue were 53-37 winners at the National Speedway Stadium in April, and followed it up with an impressive 52-38 success at Cowley earlier this month to take the aggregate point.

Aces boss Mark Lemon said: “There’s an awful lot of racing to be done yet. But after the win at Oxford as well, we are nicely placed in the table.

“If we can keep improving and progressing, we’ll be in good shape as we head towards the play-offs.

“It was a strong win when the Spires were here in mid-April. But that means nothing when they arrive here on Monday.

“They have a very solid side. Once again, all their riders have had good meetings at the National Speedway Stadium.

“They seem to have recovered from a tricky start to the campaign and will want to find a spark to make a bid for the top four.”

BELLE VUE: Brady Kurtz, Norick Blodorn, Jaimon Lidsey, Zach Cook, Dan Bewley, Tate Zischke, Jake Mulford.

OXFORD: Maciej Janowski, TBC, Erik Riss, Rohan Tungate, Charles Wright, Peter Kildemand, Luke Killeen.

SCB Referee: Christina Turnbull
