PREVIEW: OXFORD v EDINBURGH (WSRA NDL)
OXFORD host Edinburgh today (Sunday) in a clash of two sides with early 100 per cent records in the WSRA National Development League.
The Chargers won their home opener against Middlesbrough, with the Academy having been successful at Armadale against the Tigers and Belle Vue.
Oxford are at full strength whilst Edinburgh operate rider replacement for Kyran Lydren who was injured in their last meeting.
Home boss Peter Schroeck said: “It’s been almost a month since the Chargers took to the track as a complete team and we beat Middlesbrough.
“Since then, the creation of the parallel National Development Trophy competition has meant the boys have still been clocking valuable track time.
“Edinburgh will be no pushovers, because they’ve already won a couple of meetings this season. As always, there will be no pressure placed on our lads – we’ll just be helping them to achieve their best on the afternoon.
“Our home meetings with the Chargers are always exciting and full of action.”
