PREVIEW: BRITISH U21 FINAL, GLASGOW
GLASGOW stage the British Under-21 Final at Ashfield today (Sunday. 2pm) with Sam Hagon defending the title he won in dramatic fashion last year.
Hagon enjoyed the performance of his career in the 2024 event when he edged out Leon Flint and Ashton Boughen in the Final, and he will look to become the first rider since Robert Lambert in 2019 to retain the crown.
Boughen is amongst four home representatives with former podium finisher Dan Thompson one of the strong favourites, and Freddy Hodder and Max Pery are also included.
There is one change to the previously announced line-up with Senna Summers stepping up into the main field following the withdrawal of Nathan Ablitt due to food poisoning.
LINE-UP: 1 Sam McGurk, 2 Max Perry, 3 Sam Hagon, 4 Jody Scott, 5 Luke Harrison, 6 Ashton Boughen, 7 Freddy Hodder, 8 Ace Pijper, 9 Joe Thompson, 10 Ben Trigger, 11 Will Cairns, 12 Senna Summers, 13 Dan Thompson, 14 Vinnie Foord, 15 Luke Killeen, 16 Jake Mulford.
