BRITS MISS OUT

GREAT Britain duo Ben Trigger and Ace Pijper were out of luck in their European Under-19 qualifier at Pardubice on Friday.

After heavy overnight rain which continued into the day of the meeting in the Czech Republic, the event abandoned after Heat 12 due to track conditions; however, the result stands.

Reigning European Under-19 Champion Nazar Parnitskyi from the Ukraine was declared the winner after both he and Denmark’s Mikkel Andersen both ended up on nine points, with Poland’s Oskar Palauch third.

Trigger finished with a score of of two points and Pijper with one point.

The second qualifier takes place in Slovakia on May 3 where Great Britain will be represented by Ashton Boughen and Luke Harrison.
