LAMBERT HUNTING CRAVEN SUCCESS
WORLD No.2 Robert Lambert will be back in Manchester on Monday for the first time since winning gold for Great Britain in the FIM Speedway of Nations last July.
Lambert takes his place in Belle Vue’s prestigious Peter Craven Memorial season opener and is aiming for a strong result in a top-class line-up on a circuit which will be staging a British Grand Prix double later this year.
The former King’s Lynn favourite will also race at the Adrian Flux Arena on Sunday when he takes his place in Niels-Kristian Iversen’s Testimonial meeting.
Lambert said: “I’m looking forward to the fact that one of my first meetings of the season will be at the National Speedway Stadium.
“The Peter Craven is a good meeting, and I want to do well in it. It’s unique with the five-rider semi and the six-rider Final.”
