RITCHINGS IS BULLS CAPTAIN

RETURNING racer Darryl Ritchings has been named as captain of Birmingham’s new National Development Trophy team.

Ritchings is making a speedway comeback after winning the NDL title with the Perry Barr club in 2016 but retiring the following year. The 30-year-old will race for the Bulls in the NDT and also has an NDL team spot with Oxford.

He said: “I’m really looking forward to being back on track and being back at Birmingham where I enjoyed my racing and had some success in the past.

“We have a good young side and I’m aiming to assist them as much as I can as captain.”
