HUME HAPPY WITH TIGERS RETURN

WINTER signing Danyon Hume says he is even more excited for his second stint as a Sheffield rider.

The 28-year-old completed the Tigers’ team in November – returning to the club having previously had a short spell in the Steel City in 2021 and then racing for their ROWE Motor Oil Premiership rivals Ipswich.

Said Hume: “I’m coming back into the top league with a Sheffield team that has got some top riders in it, and I can’t wait.

“I’m looking forward to being in that environment and riding with these guys, because where they’ve been and where they are is where I want to be myself.

“I’m just glad and grateful to be back in the top league, racing with and against World class riders.”
