BANDITS ARE COOKING

BERWICK have pulled off the headline signing of Craig Cook after his shock exit from Cab Direct Championship rivals Workington this week.

Cook is set to take over as No.1 for the Bandits having enjoyed an excellent record on his previous visits to Shielfield Park as an opponent.

He joins Rory Schlein as recent additions to the 2025 line-up as the captain returns from shoulder blade and neck vertebrae damage which ended his campaign this year.

Manager Stewart Dickson said: “When riders of Craig’s calibre become available you don’t have to think too hard about what he offers to any team.

“It is a very significant step towards our mission to build a team capable to compete for silverware on all fronts in 2025.”
