SCB STATEMENT: PREMIERSHIP CUT-OFF

DUE to the amount of Premiership fixtures being postponed this season, the cut-off date for the conclusion of their league fixtures has been put back one week until September 8.

Because of the delayed cut-off, the Premiership League contacted the Speedway Control Bureau (SCB) and requested that a decision of which teams were to be drawn against each other in the Premiership play-off semi-finals would be decided prior to the conclusion of the Premiership League table.

With the last League fixture now scheduled for Thursday September 5 and the date of the first play-off semi-final just four days later on September 9, the SCB agreed to the Premiership request on the understanding that all four teams that had qualified for the play-offs were in agreement.
