PREVIEW: PLYMOUTH v POOLE (CAB DIRECT CHAMP)

PLYMOUTH face a vital clash with league leaders Poole at the Coliseum tonight (Saturday) if they are to keep their Cab Direct Championship play-off hopes alive.

The Gladiators are an outside bet for the top four but could still make it in with wins and aggregate points in their final three fixtures.

They have declared either an unspecified guest or rider replacement at No.1 whilst the Pirates are without both of their regular reserves with Vinnie Foord injured and Tobias Thomsen on compassionate leave.

Paul Starke guests for Foord whilst Ben Trigger replaces Thomsen under the ‘no facility’ restrictions.

Poole promoter Dan Ford said: “This is a must-win match if we’re to secure top spot in the league.

“We’re bringing in experienced reserves who know their way around the Coliseum. We’re ready to give it our all and keep pushing forward.”
