GB INTO EURO FINAL

TOM Brennan scored an 18-point maximum at Stralsund on Saturday to lead Great Britain into the Final of the FIME European Pairs.

Brennan reeled off six straight wins at the German venue and was backed up by his Birmingham team-mate Leon Flint with 7+2 as GB took one of the two qualifying places available for the Final.

Ashton Boughen was also part of the team although he did not get to ride on the day.

The hosts, who included Belle Vue’s Norick Blodorn, won the meeting two points ahead of GB.

Germany and GB join the five seeded nations in the Final at Italian venue Lonigo on October 20.
