METEORS WIN NJL

WORKINGTON Meteors clinched the Northern Junior League Championship title on Friday with a 20-16 win at the home of the Armadale Devils.

Workington move on to 14 points and although the other four clubs in the league all have matches in hand, none of them can reach 14 points.

This therefore crowns the Workington team the 2024 NJL Champions.

A presentation to the Workington team and management will be made at the GT Tyres Arena at their next home fixture on July 28 when the Comets face the Poole Pirates in the Cab Direct Championship.
