YOUNGSTERS CHASE SGP3 PLACES

GREAT Britain have full representation in Teterow, Germany in the qualifiers for SGP3 as well as the FIM Women’s Speedway Gold Trophy.

SGP3 is an event for young riders competing on 250cc machinery with places available for the Final at Gorzow next weekend.

Cooper Rushen competes in the first semi-final, whilst William Cairns (pictured) and Seth Norman take their place in the second.

Both Rushen and Cairns reached the Final last year, whilst Norman makes his debut in this event after stepping up from 125cc level. The riders require top eight places to make it to Gorzow.

Meanwhile female racers Katie Gordon and Rachel Hellowell are also in Teterow today to compete in the FIM Women’s Speedway Gold Trophy.

Gordon and Hellowell will be up against nine other riders, including Workington’s German star Celina Liebmann.
