KLINDT SET FOR STARS RETURN

NICOLAI Klindt is heading back to King’s Lynn in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership after his recent release from Oxford.

Klindt, who rode for the Adrian Flux Arena club in 2022-23, will rejoin the Stars next week as a replacement for Vadim Tarasenko who has stood down from his team place with the Norfolk club.

Promoter Keith Chapman said: “I was very sorry to hear of Vadim’s decision. He has his own reasons why, and it’s a big shame but we had to move quickly to sign a replacement.

“We had the confirmation from Vadim’s agent on Tuesday afternoon and at that point I was straight on the ‘phone to Nicolai to do a deal.

“We’ve done what we can as quickly as we can, and with Nicolai available it was definitely the right move for us to make.

 “He knows the club well after the last couple of years and I’m sure he’ll fit straight back in with us.”
