WORKINGTON STAGE YOUTH CAMP
PREPARATIONS for the 2024 season begin in earnest this week as a mix of 125cc, 250cc and 500cc riders who will be competing in this year’s British Youth Championship are attending a three-day Training Camp taking place at the impressive Workington venue.
There will be two days on track, Monday and Wednesday, with coaches Scott Nicholls, Paul Hurry and Tom Brennan in attendance.
Meanwhile Tuesday will be a day of being in the gym in the morning working on the riders’ fitness with coach James Luckman, and an afternoon session on bike maintenance and preparation with the coaches as well as SCB Technical team of Jim McGregor and John Jack.
British Youth Boss Neil Vatcher said: “This is a fantastic way for our riders to prepare for what is going to be a busy season, with nine rounds of the British Youth Championship planned as well as many other events during the season.
“We are very privileged to have some great sponsors on board again in 2024 for without their support, these type of events would not be possible.”
Our appreciation to: Nuneaton Speedway Supporters Club, Wessex Marine, Northern Scaffolding Solutions, Brian Royle, Friends of Speedway, Rentruck, Ignite Insurance Solutions Ltd, AGF Plant Ltd, Gordon Pairman and In memory of Speedway Nut for their continued support in 2024.
