WORKINGTON bring down the curtain on a successful relaunch campaign by staging the National Development League Riders’ Championship at Northside today (Sunday, 2pm).
All eight NDL clubs are represented by two riders with former winners Ben Morley (Kent) and Max Clegg (Edinburgh) both in the line-up.
Comets No.1 Connor Bailey, who won the British Under-21 Championship earlier this season, will be one of the favourites on his home track.
And the meeting also includes the last three British Youth 500cc Champions – current holder Ashton Boughen (Leicester) being joined by Sam McGurk (Workington) and Ben Trigger (Mildenhall).
