LAMBERT READY FOR CHALLENGE

NEW King’s Lynn signing Robert Lambert bids to secure his place in the 2024 Grand Prix series when he races at Gislaved today (Saturday, 3pm).

Lambert, who is currently eighth in the World Championship standings, competes in the FIM Grand Prix Challenge in Sweden, having come into the meeting as a replacement for injured Sheffield star Jack Holder.

Only the top three riders in the meeting will secure the all-important qualifying places and be sure of their positions for next year.

There is plenty of other UK interest in the meeting, including Ipswich star Jason Doyle, Wolverhampton’s Luke Becker and Edinburgh’s Paco Castagna – along with several others who have previously been associated with British clubs.
