PREVIEW: REDCAR v EDINBURGH (Cab Direct Champ)

REDCAR team boss Gavin Parr has challenged his Bears side to keep building momentum ahead of their Cab Direct Championship clash against Edinburgh tonight (Friday).

The Teesside outfit secured a 46-44 win at Birmingham on Wednesday to further solidify their place in the top six, whilst the Monarchs are also in the play-off zone but are by no means secure.

The Bears are unchanged with Luke Harrison continuing to deputise for the injured Jake Mulford, whilst the Monarchs operate rider replacement for Kye Thomson who is out with illness, but Paco Castagna is due back from injury.

Parr said: “Our win at Birmingham was a close one but we need to take the momentum we gained into Friday, and if we can get all seven boys firing at once, we could give someone a good hammering!

“Craig Cook and Josh Pickering are great around Redcar, they love our track, so we definitely won’t be taking anything for granted as we aim for the three league points.”
