PREVIEW: POOLE v BERWICK (Cab Direct Champ)
POOLE seek to further extend a 21-match unbeaten home record when they face Berwick at Wimborne Road tonight (Wednesday).
The Pirates have topped the 60-point mark in their last two official matches in Dorset, and the clash with the Bandits sees them go up against Rory Schlein, who led them to their first Championship double in 2021.
Poole youngster Anders Rowe said: “Every team is good in the league so you never really know these days, they [Berwick] could come here and you never know what happens, this is speedway. Anything can happen.
“It would be brilliant to keep our home winning streak going and great to get to the top of the league, and I am sure we will do everything in our power to get there.
“We are working well as a team at the moment, we all work well together, all one to seven and the two managers. We all discuss things and work out what we need to do. I am really loving every minute of being here.”
POOLE: Richard Lawson, Anders Rowe, Ben Cook, Zach Cook, Steve Worrall, Kyle Newman, Adam Roynon.
BERWICK: Rory Schlein, Jye Etheridge, Leon Flint, Jonas Knudsen, Thomas Jorgensen, Jacob Hook, Connor Coles.
