LAGUTA STARS IN WORRALL TESTIMONIAL

FORMER World Champion Artem Laguta scored a four-ride maximum on his first appearance at Poole in Steve Worrall’s Testimonial meeting.

Laguta reeled off four straight wins as a Pirates Select edged out the Belle Vue Select 47-43 with Worrall himself scoring 13+1, dropping his only point to Chris Harris who top scored for the Aces with nine. Matej Zagar then won the Super Final.

Worrall said: “I really want to thank all the riders who turned out for me this evening to make this event possible, and it was good to be on the bike and scoring points again.

“Hopefully I have now found some form and it is important for me to take that into Friday’s meeting at Redcar.”
