HAGON’S UNDER-19 CHALLENGE

BELLE Vue Colts youngster Sam Hagon has made the long trip to Elgane in Norway to compete in Semi-Final 1 of the FIM European Under-19 Championship this afternoon.

Hagon, who competed in the same competition last season but went out at this stage, goes to Norway in top form in the UK, on the back of winning the recent British Under-21 Qualifier at Workington to book his place in the Final which takes place at Glasgow on July 16.

Hagon is in for a tough afternoon of competition from mainly the top Under-19 riders from Scandinavia, with the field including home sensation Mathias Pollestad, who is also taking part in this year’s SGP2 series.

The top eight scorers from this afternoon’s event will qualify for the FIM European Under-19 Final which takes place in Gorzow, Poland on August 19.
