FEN TIGERS STUN COMETS

WORKINGTON suffered the first home defeat of their new era as they slipped to a 41-49 reverse against Mildenhall at Northside.

The scores were level with three races remaining but the Fen Tigers top two of Alfie Bowtell and Lee Complin twice combined for 5-1s in Heats 13 and 15 to complete the away win.

Bowtell scored 13 and Complin 11+3 for the visitors, whilst reserve Luke Harrison marked his comeback with 12+1 for the Comets and Connor Bailey scored 10, but Elliot Kelly was withdrawn with concussion.
