DUGARD CHARGES IN

OXFORD have snapped up Kelsey Dugard for their NDL team ahead of a weekend Northern tour to Edinburgh and Berwick.

Dugard started the season as injury cover for Workington, who have now re-declared with Luke Harrison back in their line-up, and he now replaces Jacob Fellows for the Chargers.

Team boss Peter Schroeck said: “Kelsey is a really talented rider at this level, and we have great faith in his ability to do a good job for us at reserve.

“There is no doubt in my mind that the Chargers can challenge for top honours this season.

“It’s tough on Jacob who leaves with our best wishes, but we’ve made a decision which we believe adds great strength in depth from top to bottom.”
