FEN TIGERS WIN BY TWO

FORMER Kent star Alfie Bowtell returned to Iwade with a 15-point maximum as Mildenhall took a 46-44 away win in the first leg of their KO Cup semi-final.

Bowtell, who was a high scorer for the Royals until he was injured last year, reeled off five wins with guest Luke Harrison taking third place in Heat 15 to ensure victory on the day.

Reserve Arran Butcher also impressed for the Fen Tigers with 10+1, whilst Ben Morley scored ten for the home side.

The tie is scheduled to be completed with the second leg at West Row this Sunday (April 16).
