SCORPIONS RETAIN ATTIS BACKING
SCUNTHORPE will continue to be backed by Attis Insurance as main title sponsors as they head into the new Cab Direct Championship campaign.
The insurance brokers have agreed to return for a third year with the Scorpions – and it also extends the backing of Joe Henderson, who previously did so with Henderson Insurance and HEB, into an incredible 17th successive season.
Promoter Rob Godfrey said: “I can’t thank Joe Henderson enough for his continued support of Scunthorpe Speedway down the years. It’s one of the longest-running team sponsorships in speedway and I couldn’t be more grateful.
“Not only we will be taking to the track as the Attis Insurance Scunthorpe Scorpions for a third season, but we’ll also have the Attis Insurance logo at the head of our new race-suits, which look smashing. One reason we brought in the race-suits is because it looks more professional and showcases our sponsors, and of course our main sponsor is Attis Insurance.
“Attis Insurance were a brand-new company when they came in to sponsor a couple of years ago. But they are expanding exponentially, as you would except from a company that has Joe Henderson behind it.
“We will take every chance to promote the name of Attis Insurance in the media at every opportunity. I genuinely believe our team is very good this season, and we intend to be making some headlines as the Attis Insurance Scunthorpe Scorpions.”
