SOLID START FOR REW
IPSWICH newcomer Keynan Rew is keen to build on the positives of his Premiership debut in the Witches’ win at Peterborough.
Rew, who recovered from a serious crash in Australia over the winter to take his place for the Foxhall side, scored four points in their 48-42 victory on Monday.
That included a crucial Heat 14 effort to defeat Panthers star Benjamin Basso and ensure the visitors still held the lead ahead of a last-heat decider.
Rew said: “It was a new track for me, the first meeting with the club and the first time racing in England, but it was good.
“I would have liked to do even better, I have big expectations of myself, but I got a heat win in my last race which is something to build on.”
