TREATMENT FOR NICKI

PETERBOROUGH have confirmed treble World Champion Nicki Pedersen will have treatment over the coming days after crashing out of Monday’s season opener.

The Dane is suffering with soreness in his back and also has two swollen fingers following the Heat 1 incident in the match against Ipswich.

Ironically it was his first official team meeting since his 2022 campaign was ended by an horrific crash when racing for his Polish club Grudziadz against Leszno.

As the Panthers await further news on Pedersen’s fitness, they have a gap in their fixture schedule until Easter Monday when they face Leicester.
