CUP TIES POSTPONED

BOTH of Thursday’s scheduled Premiership KO Cup ties became early victims of the weather.

The meetings at King’s Lynn, where the Stars were due to face Cup holders Sheffield, and at Leicester where the Lions were to take on Ipswich, were called off on Wednesday after continuous rain at both venues.

New dates for both matches are to be confirmed.
