POSTPONED: STEVE WORRALL TESTIMONIAL

STEVE Worrall is to seek a new date for his Testimonial meeting at Poole after being frustrated by the weather on Wednesday.

Forecasts had suggested the weather was improving throughout the day, but significant rain is now expected to fall from 7pm onwards in Dorset.

Worrall said: “It is regrettable but I don’t want to run the risk of having everybody there, only to have to call it off due to unsafe conditions.

“I am hoping to re-stage my Testimonial meeting at Poole later on this year in the summer time, and will update everyone once a new date is in place.

“Many thanks to everybody who has contributed towards my meeting these last few months, now we get to work on the re-staging.”
