TEAM NEWS: MONDAY MARCH 27
LINE-UPS have been declared for Monday’s Premiership matches at Peterborough and Belle Vue.
The Panthers host Ipswich as both clubs race for the first time in 2023 following last Thursday’s postponement at Foxhall.
Witches boss Ritchie Hawkins has switched his riding order compared to how they would have lined up at home, with Erik Riss racing at No.2 and Keynan Rew going to No.4.
Hawkins explained: “I’ve swapped Erik and Keynan round because I think early on, Heat 1 away from home is always vital.
“It’s a big ask of Keynan to go out in Heat 1 on a track he’s never seen. Erik knows Peterborough well.”
PETERBOROUGH: Nicki Pedersen, Hans Andersen, Richie Worrall, Benjamin Basso, Niels-Kristian Iversen, Ben Cook, Jordan Jenkins.
IPSWICH: Jason Doyle, Erik Riss, Danny King, Keynan Rew, Emil Sayfutdinov, Danyon Hume, Joe Thompson.
Meanwhile Belle Vue host Sheffield at the National Speedway Stadium – with the aggregate bonus point up for grabs for the first time since the 2007 season.
The Tigers won 48-42 at Owlerton on Thursday, and boss Simon Stead has also switched his riders in the No.2 and No.4 positions, with Kyle Howarth now partnering Jack Holder whilst David Bellego teams up with Adam Ellis.
The Aces are unchanged from the opening fixture as they race their first home meeting of the season.
BELLE VUE: Dan Bewley, Norick Blodorn, Jaimon Lidsey, Charles Wright, Brady Kurtz, Tom Brennan, Jake Mulford.
SHEFFIELD: Jack Holder, Kyle Howarth, Adam Ellis, David Bellego, Tobiasz Musielak, Lewis Kerr, Dan Gilkes.
