PROCTOR COMPLETES BRUMMIES

BIRMINGHAM have completed their line-up for 2023 with the signing of Australian racer Ty Proctor.

The 36-year-old was a treble-winner with Workington in 2018 but joins the Brummies for the Cab Direct Championship campaign on a 4.00 average after a tough time with Leicester and Berwick in recent seasons.

Team boss Laurence Rogers said: “That could be a real trump card for us.

“We know Ty hasn’t had it easy since the return from Covid but at the same time, we do know what he is capable of and he could prove to be really strong during his time at reserve in particular.

“He seems to have rediscovered his enthusiasm for racing and we’re really pleased to finally have our team in place.”
