Report

MILDENHALL skipper Lee Complin scored 15-point maximum to inspire the Fen Tigers to a 46-43 victory at Berwick.

The Fen Tigers went back to the top of the NDL table with all three points from the meeting, as Complin combined with Alfie Bowtell (12+2) for 5-1s in Heats 13 and 15.

Connor Coles scored 11 for the Bullets with reserve Mason Watson adding 9+3, but for the second week running they were frustrated in the closing stages.

Berwick boss Kevin Little said: “Once again we are left feeling a little hard done to by the final result of a meeting which could so easily have gone our way.

“We’ve had virtually no luck this season, and what we have had had been bad.

“Having said that, Lee Complin had an incredible night and I don’t think we could have stopped him if we had put four riders out in Heat 15!”
